About ARTIST Lisa Fasulo

In 2005, I started an art project called Endangered Ink, a popular tattoo-based campaign that brought awareness to the various endangered animals that need our help. Today, 20 years later, my art is on canvas instead of skin but my mission is still the same: to show and remind people of the beauty and vulnerability of the world‘s most treasured creatures. 

I believe in art with a purpose. My goal is to encourage people to consider the situation of all the endangered animals worldwide through my art. 

I truly believe the actions of one person CAN make a difference!

Although I have a degree in art history (with a semester in Italy) it's really been the places I have been and the people I have met that have influenced my painterly art style. 

I have visited many of the world's most famous museums and met some very influential painters along the way including Andy Warhol :)

I have been creating art for over 50 years. I have explored almost every medium and style but painting is the art form that I always come home to. Probably my most prolific art season was the 15 years I taught people how to create skin art (tattoos!) My tattoo work has been featured in over 50 international magazines and I even had my own TV show on TLC (Discovery)!
